By Steven Johnson on 1/25/2016

House Resolution 1670 is a bill to place a Chair of Honor in the US Capitol Rotunda.

Sponsored by Rep. Stephen Lynch D-MA-8 (National POW/MIA Remembrance Act 2015) was moved out of committee of the House Administration. and now sits in the US House waiting for a vote.

Your action is need NOW to make sure this bill has a chance to pass.  The Speaker of The House Rep. Paul Ryan is the only one who can make the decision what Legislation comes to the floor for a Vote or call for a Suspension, which is a procedure generally used to quickly pass non controversial bills.

Let's make sure this gets past!  We need everyone to call.

These are the Numbers to call:

Speaker Of The US House Rep. Paul Ryan: 202-225-0600 or 3031
Majority Leader of the House Rep Kevin McCarthy: 202-225-4000
Minority Leader of The House Rep. Nancy Pelosi: 202-225-0100

Know what you are going to say before you call and know that when you call, you may get a voice mail. Leave a message introducing yourself and who you are a (Rolling Thunder Member, or a concerned Citizen).  Tell them that H.R. 1670 must be moved on the floor for a vote.  Mention in your message what this bill and chair represents to the POW/MIA Families who still have no closure and that we want this chair to be place in the US Capitol to remember the 91,000 plus POW/ MIA still unaccounted for from all wars.
